RRK9 CORONAVIRUS RELIEF INITIATIVE

REDEMPTION ROAD K9 CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) RELIEF INITIATIVE – #MillionMaskChallenge

Redemption Road K9 does its best to stay positively active in the communities we live and work. Some of the issues we get behind are personal to our staff. And sometimes it’s a matter of simply doing what is right. In this case, it is both. Our team members have direct family members working on the front lines of healthcare to help those infected battle COVID-19, as well as family and friends with compromised immune systems. It is truly a matter of life and death for us. As such, Redemption Road K9 has partnered with some of our clients, including the Nelson Family & No Strings Attached Costumes of Santa Clarita, CA to do our part to help solve the mask shortage problem* and participate in the #millionmaskchallenge! We have already donated hundreds of masks, and will continue donating for as long as we can.

In addition, we are now offering FREE 30 minute home visits + dog walks for Health Care Professionals in the Antelope Valley. These beautiful souls are on the front lines risking their lives to treat the sick while putting in tons of hours every day. Because they are at the hospitals and clinics trying to help us, their animals are often left home alone. If you are a healthcare professional (or know of one) and have a dog at home that needs to be let out or walked, please send us a message. We are a limited staff with limited resources. But we are committed to doing our part to help during this pandemic.

Below, we have included a step-by-step manual to help guide your efforts. If you’d like to get involved, or have any questions or comments, please email us at: [email protected].

*The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have predetermined places for handmade masks in times of crisis. On the CDC page: Strategies for Optimizing the Supply of Facemasks, they explain that as a last resort, a homemade mask is acceptable.
