Age: On the start date of the class, pups must be between 8 weeks and 16 weeks old (i.e., 56-112 days).
If your dog is older than 16 weeks old, but still between 12-18 weeks old, Puppy Training I is the age-appropriate class to start with.
If your pup is older than 18 weeks old, Basic Household Manners is the age-appropriate class to start with.
Vaccine: First DHLPP or DHPP vaccine prior to first session. Vaccination records will be requested upon registration.
Learn how to control your puppy off-leash. Teach come, sit, settle down, and shush on cue. Continue socializing your pup to people and other dogs and preventing common behavior and temperament problems such as puppy biting, jumping up, and pulling on leash.

Age: On the start date of class, pups must be between 12-18 weeks old (i.e., 84-126 days).
If your dog is older than 18 weeks old and has not completed Puppy Training I, Basic Household Manners is the age-appropriate class.
Vaccine: Proof of two DHLPP or DHPP vaccinations given 2-3 weeks apart — both vaccines administered after 8 weeks of age and the second vaccination given at least 7 days prior to the start-date of class. Vaccination records will be requested upon registration.
Refine the skills you learned in Puppy Training I and learn how to teach your young adolescent pup to be calm, attentive and to respond quickly, willingly and happily, especially when distracted, off-leash, and at a distance. This class is 6 sessions total, and each session meets approximately 55 minutes each week.

Prerequisite: Must have completed I Puppy Training I or equivalent within the last 4 months.
Age: Under 8 months old.
If your dog is older than 18 weeks old and has not completed Puppy Training I, please start with Basic Household Manners.
Vaccine: Proof of rabies vaccine and up-to-date DHLPP/DHPP are required.
Receive specialized attention on the areas of training you would like to work on, such as perfecting off-leash control or learning challenging new behaviors. Prerequisite: Puppy Training II. This class is 6 sessions total, and each session meets approximately 55 minutes each week.

Prerequisite: Puppies must have completed Puppy I and Puppy II or equivalent.

The Redemption Road K9 Essential Skill Series is a 3-part program: Basic Household Manners, Leash Manners, and Come When Called! This series provides targeted, focused work on the most desired and necessary companion dog skills. Continue to improve your dog’s skills and also to have a safe place to train your dog with support and coaching. The three classes are meant to complement each other and we recommend taking all three courses in the Redemption Road K9 Essential Skill Series.
Registration Fee: $200 per 6 week course, $540 for all three courses + $4.00 handling fee per-order for using PayPal.
Temperament: Dogs must be friendly and non-reactive with other dogs and people.
Age: 19 weeks or older
Vaccine: Proof of rabies vaccine and up-to-date DHLPP/DHPP are required.
Prerequisite: The Basic Household Manners class has no prerequisite. The Leash Manners & Come When Called classes require completion of either Puppy Training I, or Basic Household Manners.
Skills taught include; watch me, no jumping (teach your dog not to jump up on people), stay from a sit or down, stand still, go to bed, leave it (how to ignore food and other distractions), Take it (how to take things such as food and toys, gently). This class is 6 sessions total, and each session meets approximately 55 minutes each week.

Please note: This class is held on-leash for all 6 sessions.
Teach your dog to walk politely on-leash and to heel on or off-leash. Additional skills taught include; sit, watch me (eye contact/attention), hand target (great for controlling your dog with clarity and ease), follow the leader, and more. This class is 6 sessions total, and each session meets approximately 55 minutes each week.
